Online Giving

Thank you for expressing an interest in supporting our church family and the ministries of Athens Wesleyan Church. Over the past few months, we have had the ability to give virtually through a temporary arrangement with Wesleyan Church Headquarters due to Covid-19; however, that program is no longer available.  We have set up an account with Tithe.ly for online giving, and by clicking the link below, you will be taken to their website where you will be able to give virtually. If you already had an account set up through The Wesleyan Church, and want to continue online giving, you will still need to set up a new account through Tithe.ly.  Getting started with Tithe.ly is quick and simple, and you will be able to make a one-time donation or set up a recurring donation.  If you are using a smart phone or other mobile device, you can download the Tithe.ly app for Apple or Android devices. If you have any questions, please contact the church office, and we will be glad to walk you through the process.

Note: Tithe.ly is a business that provides a service for churches.  They charge a 3% fee for each transaction.  You can choose to have this deducted from your amount, or you can opt to pay it on top of your tithe.  For example, if you want to give $100 to the church and have that fee removed from your tithe, the church will receive $97.  If you choose to pay the fee, the 3% will be added to your end, making your total donation $103, and the church will receive $100 of that.  Either way, we appreciate your gift!
