Illness and Health Policy

Please call the school to let us know on the first day your child is unable to attend.

This is helpful to other parents in diagnosis if their child becomes ill. Please be respectful of the other parents and children by keeping your child home if they show any of the following signs:
• Fever of 100 degrees or more
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Showing signs of a contagious disease like chicken pox, flu, rash, pink eye, pneumonia, head lice, etc.
• Been on antibiotics in the last 24 hours

Any child brought to school with the above conditions will be sent home.

Under no condition will medications (example: Epi pens or inhalers) be administered by staff unless staff has written authorization and has been instructed by parents or guardians in proper administration.
